Cyberbullying is the use of technology to harass, threaten,
embarrass or target another person. It may meet the definition of cyber-harassment or cyberstalking. There are different types of doing crimes
through online. The fake account, web page, or online persona has been created with
the sole intention to harass and bully. Modern-day bullying can happen at home
as well as at school- essentially 24 hours a day.
Picked- on kids can feel like they’re getting blasted
nonstop and that there is no escape. As long as kids have access to a phone,
computer or other devices they are at risk. Severe, long term or frequent
cyberbullying can leave victims and bullies at greater risk for anxiety,
depression, and other stress-related disorders
Experts say that kids who are bullied and the bullies
themselves are at higher risk for suicidal thoughts, attempts, and completed
suicides. The punishment for cyberbullies can include being suspended from
school or kicked off of sports teams.
Cyberbullying is worse than the real world. Fraudulent bullies
who are not picky at all doesn’t have a choice but to bully them throughout the
social media even though they knew the consequences that could happen to them.
And the bully can't do much to stop the thugs because they
feel that the world is against them. Most of the bullies don't want to
tell that they've been bullied because they think that it can't be undone
neither solved. And they don't want to add up problems to others, especially to
their family.
Being a bullyrag is not easy, if you know someone else
there, then help them, try to comfort and let them feel that they really do
belong in this place. Try to be the comforter and not be the bully. Be
someone's hero and it's not too late to take action. Be the first one to
start.
